Busaba is a thai food chain with several branches dotted throughout London. On Monday I found myself hungry after a busy day so I stopped at the branch closest to Selfridges for a spot of ‘Linner’ (a hybrid of Lunch and Dinner) with my cousin.
Its a great spot to eat at for a decent thai fusion meal at a reasonable price. As you walk in the ambient mood is created initially by the fragrant incense often burned, the floating candles and the dark wood decor. We were greeted by a waiter and led to a table, as it was quiet we had the table to ourselves however during busy periods you will find yourself on a table with other people.
I ordered a jasmine tea whilst my accomplice ordered herself a lemongrass tea. For a main meal I ordered from the special menu an item that was on the old menu but had made a resurgence the aromatic Chicken curry served with jasmine rice and a cucumber relish. For starters we ordered the famed thai calamari and the chicken lollipops.
The food arrived in decent timing and was delicious. If you are ever in London do give Busaba a try, its decent thai-fusion food in a gorgeous setting for a great price.
